Akimbo and McCaw are the unlikely foster-parents of Snapper, the little alligator who thinks he's a monkey/parrot! The raised him from an egg, and are now trying to get Snapper to stop swinging through the tree-tops and act more like an alligator. Snapper helps out as a delivery bou for Akimbo and McCaw on their old paddleboat 'The Macicombo Princess'. Snapper gets into a lot of tight scrapes but always delivers in the end. The storylines will explore the Amazon basin from the viewpoint of a parrot, a monkey and an alligator - all in one very lively and endearing form: Snapper!

He's a young alligator with an identity crisis. He thinks he's half-parrot and half-monkey. He's quite at home swinging from the trees, but he never goes in the water! He's mischievous and likes to have fun, but has a pretty good sense of right and wrong.
